The technology institute will also boast walkways, green spaces, and recreational facilities, serving as a hub for the development of next-generation digital technologies. The initial phase will comprise of a training center and a 250-person residential facility. ![]() The company will break ground before the end of 2018 and anticipates to complete construction by the end of 2020. Infosys has stated that it will make an initial investment of US$35 million to transform a 70-acre site at the old Indianapolis airport terminal into its US education center. “Our new Indianapolis facility will prepare our American employees-and those of our clients-to master the kinds of advanced skills that are now required to succeed in our digital future,” said Ravi Kumar, President, Infosys. The move is part of the company’s commitment to hire 10,000 American workers over the next two years and invest in training to ensure that the US workforce has the essential skills required for serving its clients. Global IT services provider Infosys is gearing up to establish an education institute in Indianapolis to arm American workers with digital skills and create 1,000 jobs for the graduates.
